To do:

I think I may try this soon, but perhaps on a smaller scale:

~Decoupage a Desk ~

Home office with a decoupaged desk
Ted Tucker                          » From Cottage Living

Getting Started
Opt out of the typical brown wooden desk and choose one decoupaged with marine charts. If nautical isn't your style, find something to suit you better like maps or photographs. If you're interested in sewing, try out decoupaging with old dressmaker patterns.
Shopping List
  • Drop cloth
  • 1 quart oil-based primer
  • 2 paintbrushes
  • 1 large aluminum roasting pan
  • 1 gallon school glue
  • Nautical charts or other maps
  • Craft knife
  • Sponge brush
  • 1 quart satin polyurethane
